1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how TimeFliesBy (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the ATime web application (“Service”) offered at the site where this policy is posted.

2. Local storage on your device (IndexedDB and related storage)

Core product behavior: ATime stores your watches, measurements, photos, and preferences locally in your browser using IndexedDB and related browser storage APIs. Operational measurement data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers for storage as part of the Service. The Service operates without a backend that receives or hosts your watch or measurement database.

You can inspect or clear this data through your browser’s settings (for example “site data”, “storage”, or “IndexedDB” for this origin).
Clearing site data will permanently delete your ATime data on that browser. We cannot recover it; we do not maintain backups of your local data.
Using another browser or device will not include the same local data. We do not provide export, import, or sync.

3. Information we collect

Data on your device.

As described in Section 2, operational data needed to run ATime stays on your device unless you choose to email us (below).

Support email.

If you contact us at Apps@TimeFliesBy.com, we receive and process the content of your message and email metadata (such as headers, timestamps, and addresses) as necessary to respond, troubleshoot, and operate support. Do not send sensitive information you are uncomfortable sharing by email.

4. Retention

Data stored only in your browser remains until you clear it, switch browsers or devices without that data, or remove the browser or app data. We do not control retention inside your device beyond how the Service writes to local storage.

Support emails and related correspondence are retained for as long as needed to handle your request and for ordinary business, legal, and operational purposes, unless a shorter period is required by law.

5. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect any information we process. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; data kept only on your device depends on your device and browser security.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
